The mission of the Summit libraries is to help students and faculty be successful finders and users of information and technology, and to enjoy reading and life long learning.

Book Check Out Policy

1st grade students are allowed to check out one book for two weeks with the option to renew.

Grades 2-5 students are allowed to check out up to three books for two weeks with the option to renew. Students can always bring their books back early. We allow for book check-out during the student's regularly scheduled library time every week. All grades regularly visit the library once a week - please check the class schedule to check your child's time.

Overdues/reminders are send out twice a month and will be done on Mondays so that they will be in the student's Monday folder. If you have any questions about a overdue/reminder notice please feel free to contract me. Remember - there are no fines for overdue books but if a book is lost or damaged, it must be paid for.

Parents are welcome and encouraged to visit the library.
